An enthusiastic, innovative and effective full-time teacher is required to join our dynamic Modern Languages department. We are seeking someone who can teach at least two languages from French, Spanish and German to GCSE standard and at least one of these languages to A level.  The successful candidate will need to be able to stretch students of all ages and abilities in this 11-18 grammar school. Applications from established teachers with a proven track record of excellent examination results and also NQT’s are both welcome. There is the possibility of a TLR point for second in department for a suitable applicant.

School Direct Placements

The Folkestone School for Girls has an excellent reputation for training teachers

and a long track record of producing good and outstanding teachers

 

Would you like to turn your degree

into a teaching qualification?

 

School Direct placements are available at The Folkestone School for Girls

to start in September 2014 in the following subjects:

 

                                                                      Mathematics

 

Applicants must have a relevant degree and some experience

of working with children in a school or non-school environment.

 

 

The application process for the School Direct route into teaching is significantly different this year.

Applications can be made via UCAS up to September 15th 2014 however our interview process

will commence from December 13th 2013 and so candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.
