Admission Appeals - September 2026 Entry
On receiving your school offer in March 2026, if you named The Folkestone School for Girls on your SCAF, but did not receive an offer of a Year 7 place for September, you have until Monday 30th March 2026 to submit your appeal paperwork (preferably ALL of it), addressed to the Clerk to the Appeals Panel c/o The Folkestone School for Girls, Coolinge Lane, Folkestone CT20 3RB or email: npetrie@folkestonegirls.kent.sch.uk
Appeals for entry into Year 7 in September 2026 will be heard according to the following timetable:
Offer Date - 2nd March 2026
Appeals to be lodged by - 30th March 2026
Appeals to be heard by - 18th June 2026 (40 school days)
Appeals received after these dates will be heard within forty school days of the appeal deadline or thirty school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
In Year Appeals
Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within thirty school days of the appeal being lodged.
Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal, together with a copy of the school’s case, ten school days in advance.
