Fiver Challenge - Year 7 and Year 8
If you’re in Year 7 or Year 8, get ready to unleash your creativity and entrepreneurial skills! You’ll have the chance to develop a small business, taking it from a bright idea to a real product you can sell.
Throughout the process, one of our Sixth Form Careers Ambassadors will guide and support you, ensuring your product is safe, polished, and ready for the market.
This exciting opportunity begins in January and runs until Easter, culminating in a vibrant market where you’ll sell your products to the school community. It’s your chance to gain hands-on business experience and showcase your talents.
Young Enterprise - Year 10
Are you ready to take on the world of business? As a Year 10 student, you’ll have the exciting chance to join the Young Enterprise programme and start your own business!
Working as part of a team, you’ll develop innovative business ideas, raise capital, and bring your product or service to life. This is your opportunity to build real-world skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.
At the end of the academic year, you’ll close down your business—and if you’ve made a profit, you get to keep it!

Your feedback matters...
You are at the heart of our careers programme, and we’re committed to helping you develop your skills, explore your interests, and discover a variety of career opportunities during your time at FSG.
After each event you attend, we’ll ask you to complete a short survey to share your thoughts. Your feedback is invaluable—it helps us adapt and improve the programme to better meet your needs.
Each academic year, you’ll also have the opportunity to provide feedback on the careers programme as a whole. This ensures that we’re continually evolving to support you on your journey.
